Gam-Anon (for family & friends)
Cost: Free
Gam-Anon is a fellowship for the spouses, partners, family members, and close friends of people affected by gambling. It offers a place to share experiences and learn ways to cope, set boundaries, and protect your own wellbeing. Meetings are free and confidential, and often run alongside Gamblers Anonymous meetings.
You do not need the gambler in your life to be in recovery — or even to have admitted there is a problem — to attend. Meetings are led by other members who understand what living with someone else’s gambling feels like, and many areas hold Gam-Anon sessions in the same building and hour as Gamblers Anonymous.
